My VC100 cordless vacuum cleaner isn’t working.
Make sure that the cleaner’s battery is charged.The VC100 should be charged for around 5 hours before you use it for the first time, or if you haven’t used it for a long time. Also, check that the charging process is working correctly and that the contacts on the device and/or the mains charger are clean.
If necessary, clean them with a dry cloth (please disconnect the charger from the mains first!). Don’t turn the cordless vacuum cleaner on until it is disconnected from the charging unit. The VC100 won’t start if it is connected to the main charger. You’ll see this because the device’s green indicator light will flash quickly when you try to switch it on.
My VC100 cordless vacuum cleaner isn’t charging and the function indicator is off.
Please make sure that the main charger, charging unit and cordless vacuum cleaner are all connected and that the main charger is plugged into a working socket. If it still doesn’t charge up, then please contact customer service to check about getting a replacement.The function indicator on my VC100 cordless vacuum cleaner is flashing quickly.
If the function light is flashing, it could be caused by a couple of things:1. if you try to switch the device on while it is connected to the charger. If so, take the device off the charging unit first before switching it on.
2. the cordless vacuum cleaner has gone into safety mode, because the battery has reached a high temperature. Unplug the charger cable and allow the VC100 to cool down. If the flashing persists, please contact customer service to check about getting a replacement.
My VC100 cordless vacuum cleaner doesn’t suck properly anymore or makes strange noises.
First of all, please check whether the nozzle is blocked and remove any blockages if necessary. Make sure that the dust chamber isn’t full and that it is attached properly. If, despite all this, the problem still persists, please contact customer service to check about getting a replacement.The dust chamber on my VC 100 cordless vacuum cleaner won’t click into place properly.
You need to do the following:Make sure that the dust chamber is attached the right way round (the indentation on the filter unit must be on the same side as the release button).
Also check whether there is any dust or crumbs and such like by the latch of the release button which are stopping it from attaching.
