You may have recently seen a pop-up in Cookidoo asking you to update your subscription and click to learn more. What does this mean?
We understand that unexpected notifications can feel confusing, so we’d like to clarify what’s happening.
This message is simply letting you know about an upcoming subscription price adjustment. Cookidoo is aligning subscriptions to its standard annual price of $65.
If you received this notification, it means your current subscription is part of a previous pricing group, such as $39 or $55, and your next renewal will move to the standard price.
Is Cookidoo canceling my subscription?
Not at all. Your current subscription is not being canceled, and you’ll continue to enjoy all the benefits of Cookidoo through the end of your current subscription term.
What has changed is your automatic renewal setting. Auto-renewal has been turned off for your current plan, which means you will not be automatically charged at the end of your subscription period.
Your access to your Cookidoo account will remain uninterrupted until your current term ends.
What will happen to my subscription next?
You’re receiving this in-app notification as an early reminder — up to 6 weeks in advance — so you have time to review your renewal options.
Before your current subscription term ends, you can choose to renew at the standard Cookidoo subscription price of $65. If you decide not to renew, your subscription will simply end on your scheduled renewal date.
If you’d like to continue enjoying Cookidoo without interruption, just click “Renew Now” and follow the steps to renew your subscription.
What happens if I choose not to renew?
If you decide not to renew, no action is needed. Since auto-renewal has already been turned off, you will not be charged again when your current subscription reaches its renewal date.
You’ll continue to have access to Cookidoo through the end of your current subscription term. After that, your subscription will expire and access to subscription features will end.
It’s also important to note that any recipes you’ve saved or created within your subscription experience may no longer be available once the subscription ends. If you think you may want continued access to your Cookidoo content, renewing before your term ends is the best way to keep everything available without interruption.
What happens if I close the notification and do nothing?
If you choose to close the pop-up for now, that’s absolutely okay. The message will disappear temporarily and appear again the next time you log in, so you can review it when you’re ready.
If you choose to update your auto-renewal now, it will not affect the price you are currently paying during your active subscription term. It simply means that once your current term ends, your subscription will renew at the standard $65 rate, allowing you to continue enjoying uninterrupted access to Cookidoo.
Where can I learn more or renew my subscription?
When you’re ready, simply select “Renew Now” from the notification in Cookidoo to review your renewal and continue your subscription seamlessly.
We appreciate you being part of the Cookidoo community and are here to help make this transition as simple and smooth as possible.
