Cleaning the Thermomix after cooking is very simple. If there is food residue inside the bowl, pour a little water into the bowl along with a drop or two of detergent, then turn it on at level 10 for a few seconds. This will remove most ingredient residue from the bowl and lid. If a deeper cleaning is necessary, the bowl can be taken apart and placed in the dishwasher or washed by hand. All the individual parts of the bowl are dishwasher safe. The Thermomix base unit can be wiped with a damp cloth.
