Bisphenol-A (“BPA”) is found in the main components of the Thermomix® (e.g., deep within the base, the underside of the carrier handle, the design cover below the carrier handle, within the face of recipe chips and the recipe chip/CooK-Key magnetic docking component), none of which come into contact with food.
Since March of 2015, all TM5 and TM6™ accessories/materials that come into contact with food are Bisphenol-A, -S and -F free (with the exception of the TM5 measuring cup, which contains Bisphenol-S).
In any case, we display the Prop 65 Warning out of an abundance of caution. The BPA level of exposure falls below the Prop 65 Warning requirements.
